EXCELLENT THINGS TO DO

Explore the local area

Nestled between two charming villages, Ashcroft Glamping offers an idyllic retreat in rural north Norfolk. To the north, just a ten-minute walk or five-minute bike ride away, lies the quaint village of Hindolveston. Further south, you'll find Foulsham, a thirty-minute bike ride or an eight-minute drive from our site. Foulsham boasts the welcoming Queen's Head pub, which is dog-friendly and renowned for its steak and grill specialties, as well as its excellent selection of beers, real ales, and wines. You’ll also find a small village shop stocked with all the essentials.

From our site, a public footpath leads you through picturesque fields to the village of Guestwick. Enjoy numerous beautiful walking, hiking, and cycling routes, perfect for exploring the scenic countryside.

Further afield

For many guests, a trip to the North Norfolk Coast is a highlight of their stay. A 20-minute drive will take you to the picturesque villages of Blakeney and Morston, where daily boat trips can take you to see the seals at Blakeney Point. On the way, stop by the beautiful historic Georgian town of Holt, offering a wide selection of excellent shops, pubs, and restaurants. Further along the coast, you'll find the famous seaside towns of Sheringham and Cromer.

If you want to blend the tranquility of rural Norfolk with arts, culture, and heritage, the city of Norwich is about 45 minutes away. A day of boating on the Norfolk Broads is within a similar distance, offering a perfect mix of relaxation and adventure.
